About JeiDub
First of all, my initials are J.W., therefore JeiDub.
I am a college graduate (BA in Liberal Studies) and would like to pursue other academic endeavors. I am open to getting a teaching credential so that I can teach either K-6 students or 7-12 students. Eventually I would like to work on a Master’s and that may mean that I’ll have to get a second Bachelor’s because I want experience in the sciences and math. All that just to say that my ultimate goal is to teach science or math at the college level.
I have also considered going into the linguistics field and/or becoming a Speech and Language Pathologist/Therapist.
I reside in Southern California with my husband. He is quite the interesting fellow.
My interests include, but are not limited to: linguistics, reading, baking, cooking, going to the movies, great food, good conversation, education and word games. Goals (far-reacing or not): Masters degree, buy land, learn to drive a manual/stick-shift, buy a sports car, learn more Spanish and French (I took them in school), learn five other languages or so. I also have a love/hate relationship with shopping: I love to shop but hate how much I spend. And… everything else about me is a mystery.

Hellow there JW!
Thanks for visiting my blog!
My wife was a teacher for 10 years… definitely get the second credential, you never know what position you might find yourself teaching. Having the choice between K-12 is a wonderful option.
See you ’round the Ed Morrissey chat room.

Jei is pronounced “Jay” like the letter J.
Dub is a short version of “double”, but it’s really supposed to be short for the letter W (double U). But I know in French w is pronounced doble ve.
All that just to say it’s a weird way to spell my initials J.W.
